Accessing your BU Network space (H: Drive) from a 95/XP windows machine

Once connected to the BU Network, you can use the following methods to access your BU Network Storage space (H: drive).

Right-click on My Computer and choose Map Network Drive.




In Drive: field, you can select any available drive letter. (H: is what is used in the Pods and IC).



 

In Folder: field, type in \\bingnfs1\BUUSERID
Make sure that the BUUSERID is your BU user/e-mail id and do not add any spaces.

 

Checking Reconnect at logon will allow you access without having to follow all the steps again.


Click Finish and you are done.


Run Cmd Method (Windows)

From the Start menu choose Run


In Open: field, type in \\bingnfs1\BUUSERID



Make sure that the BUUSERID is your BU user/e-mail id and do not add any spaces.


 In User name: field, type in pods\ BUUSERID
In Password: field, type in your Pod password

  Click OK and you are done.
